Tom Green County TX * Leasing 1200acres surrounded by much
larger ranches 5Kac plus. This ranch is low fench rolling
terrain with mosquite flats and cedar hills. The ranch has a wet/dry creek
running the entire property which connects to the concho river. The
lease does include a hunters cabin w/ beds, fridge, TV, Shower,
etc.. My wife is a city girl-mall hopper and she doesnt mine
staying in this cabin. The Ranch is owned by a retired gentleman
whom does have a home on the property. However, his day to day operations
consist of working his cattle. He stays out of the way when hunters are
in the field. There will be a total of three hunters bow or gun
allowed for the 2007 season including my self. I need two responsible
hunters looking to bag a mature trophy buck. In 2004 we took a
180 B&C buck of this property and have passed on many 130 to 140
class deer. Every year at least a 160 class deer is killed within
the adjoing ranches. There are too many turkey, quail and dove.
We have also seen Mountian lion and Red deer. One trophy class
buck is allowed per hunter. He must be mature and of trophy
status. One cull buck each and all the does your tags can handle.
The cost per hunter is $4K. This is a serious deer lease with
serious potential. I myself have passed (with a bow) on a 145
class 12 point in velvet-He was only 3 1/2. I have the pics to prove
it. Thats the kind of hunters I am looking for. If you are serious

morning doves, light geese, squirrels , and occasional turkeys.
Various huntable Waterfowl are almost always on our lake. Lots
of Deer constantly move through our almost-400, contiguous,
woodsy acres past our 14-acre lake in our hidden middle-valley
in northern Oklahoma near Pawnee. Deer go back and forth between
the nearby Arkansas River and big Black Bear Creek right through
our woods bottleneck-runway in the midst of this prairie countryside--
We are easy to get to, as there are rural public roads on 3 sides
of our land. We use exactly the same hunting seasons as does
the State of Oklahoma in our area. You will be able to hunt and
fish for the entire remainder of the calendar year of 2007.
